Super Bowl Scramble

 

Rules & Information Sheet

 

FORMAT:  3-Person Scramble.  All three team members will tee off on each hole.  After the best shot is selected, the team may improve the lie of the ball one club length, no closer to the hole.  If the selected ball lies in the fairway, rough or in a hazard, all 3 balls must remain in that condition.  If the selected ball is in a bunker, the first ball must be played as it lies and the second and third balls may be placed.  Either players may rake the bunker between shots. 

 

The field will consist of 4 flights.  Flights will be determined upon completion of play based on final score.  All ties to determine flights and flight winners will be decided by a scorecard playoff beginning on the #1 handicap hole and going forward (#2 hdcp hole, #3 hdcp hole, etc.).

 

PAYOUT: 1^st Place - $300 per team, 2^nd Place - $225 per team, 3^rd Place - $150 per team, 4^th Place - $100 per team, 5^th Place - $60 per team

*Payout is in gift certificates to the Maumelle CC Golf Shop and expires on 12/31/2024.

 

SUPER-BOWL BOARD:  Flight winners receive a square on the MCC Super Bowl Board and entrance into the SB Party.  

 

TEE MARKERS: 

Men 59 years of age and younger will play from the White Tee Markers. 

Men 60 years of age and older will play from the Green Tee Markers

Men 70 years of age and older will play from the Red Tee Markers

 

SPECIAL HOLE CONTESTS:

#6 & #15 – Each team will kick, punt, & throw a ball to determine where they will hit their tee shot from.  Select one team member to kick off tee from the tee box, wherever it lands another team member will throw/punt from there, wherever that lands the final team member will throw/punt from there.  Once the ball has been kicked, punted, & thrown the team will be playing their first shot from that spot.  You may tee the ball up there.
